Me and my partner have stayed here a couple of times for a nice weekend away. The hotel is really central, right by the beach and round the corner from the shopping mall and within walking distance of all the local attractions...it's also within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs but far enough away that you can still get a good nights sleep! The staff there were really helpful and breakfast in the morning was delicious...you can choose to have a fried breakfast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and lots of fresh fruit juice and tea and coffee and you could ask for more if you're really hungry! All in all this is the perfect place to stay in Brighton, me and my partner really enjoyed our stay, I would definitely recommend staying here and I will definitely stay there again!

Only a 2 minute walk away from the city centre shops and bars. The hotel staff where friendly and very helpfull on were to go on a night out. Would def go back again soon. The breakfast was a great variety and all cooked to order!!! What more could you ask for?

The staff were very attentive and helpful, particularly with checking in and at breakfast (which had a great selection and the food was well cooked!).

The rooms were neat, though I thought the shower cubicle needed a good scrub or re-grouting and the ceiling above it was quite grim. The rooms had everything we needed, however the beds in Room 24 (twin room) were on a lean which was a little disconcerting - not enough that either me or my friend fell out though!

I don't believe it was worth the £90 per night, but it was within very good distance of the Conference Centre and other than the seagulls, was quiet. Like most places in Brighton, there wasn't any free parking either - it was all residental permits only.

Having stayed at Adelaide House about 5 years ago, we went for a return visit. The man who showed us to our room was in dire need of a wash and shave(despite this being 4pm). The room was clean and the bedding spotless, but the room itself was dated and needed refurbing. There was mould around the shower (which was feeble)and a horrid curtain around the washbasin which would have looked more at home in a crematorium. The main carpet in the property was stained and needed replacing. Breakfasts were good and you could have what you wanted.
