Where do I begin. The web site says that the hotel has been re-furbished, maybe we missed the bit that had been. Hotel was dark and not at all welcoming if we had not paid in advance we would have walked straight out again. The room was pokey and the shower-room was so small that if you bent down over the wash hand basin to clean your teeth your backside stuck out into the bedroom. There were some horrible pictures on the wall that we could not live with so we decided to move them bad mistake as one was hiding a hole that you could put your fist in! No bedside lights, we stayed for 5 nights and the sheets were not changed once and getting clean towels was a nightmare. Never again! If you have any standards do not stay here.

We booked two nights here for a mate's stag do and had the best time! The owner Ash and his staff were very accommodating and could not do enough for us - booking us cabs, recommending places to eat, things to do etc. They were all very helpful and actually seemed interested in why we had come to visit Bournemouth which was great! If you're looking for a budget hotel that's clean, secure and friendly - stay here!

Excellent hotel, just what we needed and Ash and his partner made us very welcome. The hotel is in a great location and ash was able to provide lots of info of where to go out drinking and eating. He even let us order the boxing and watch it in the hotel so we could all watch it from the comfort of the sofa! We really enjoyed the stag do weekend and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay particularly for groups of friends going away together!

We stayed from Sunday to Wednesday and had a great time. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was top class. The star of the hotel though is the owner Ash, this is how a hotel should be run. We asked what was the latest we could have breakfast, and he said, what time do you want it!! The room we had was ideal and the location great. Would we come here again, you bet we would.
