Stayed at the Ingledene House for 3 nights with friends, we had a great time. The hotel looks well upkept on the outside and this continues (although a little dated) on the inside.
Welcomed by the owner, who was chatty and gave us a few ideas on where to go etc. Our room was big and had all the amenities needed and breakfast was available as either continental or full english, which wasn't expected! Food was fine, did try dinner there one night, this was also fine, just like a home-cooked meal.
Unlike some guest houses, the owner was happy having lively 21 year olds staying, so long as noise was kept to a minimum after 11pm, which was fine as we were hitting the bars by this point!
There is some outside seating as well as the homely breakfast room, which is always nice on a warm day/evening and you have your own key to get into the building so no curfew!
Overall we had a great stay, and the only real thing was the decor which was just a bit outdated, but for the price it is a great place to stay, whether you're visiting briefly or for a long weekend!
