“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break - whether for a weekend or a longer stay. Ground floor room with the conservatory was absolutely lovely and Jackie had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible.it's a lovely, charming base to explore Bournemouth but also great to spend time at the cottage - and the breakfast is superb! Highly recommended

“Great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

The owner Jackie was very welcoming. We had the upstairs room which was spacious and had a large en suite bathroom. Large comfortable bed - all facilities very clean. Tea and coffee tray in the room and full English breakfast served in the room was tasty and filling. Good location - only 10 minutes walk from Bournemouth seafront. We would recommend a stay here and would certainly stay again if revisiting Bournemouth. Nothing negative to say. Thanks for a pleasant stay Jackie.

“Lovely B & B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

If you are looking for 1st class accommodation in Bournemouth, look no further than The Coach House Cottage, situated about a 15-20 min walk from the town/beach etc. We booked into this guest house for a couple of nights this month, and although there are only 2 guest rooms, Jackie the the very nice lady owner, runs this property very proffesionally but with an informal and friendly feel to it. We had the ground floor room which is very comfortably furnished, it having a king size bed and ample storage space. There is a good TV and DVD player, and there was a small collection of discs and books, along with a folder giving all the local information which was very helpful. There is a very nice shower room that had both towels and toiletries provided. We had the additional bonus of having our own private furnished conservatory where we were served our choice of breakfasts- all freshly prepared at our chosen time. There was a bowl of fresh fruit, a cooling cabinet that was stocked with fresh milk and bottled water, a tray and kettle with a selection of teas and coffees and biscuits.Wine glasses and a bottle opener were even provided in case we fancied a glass of wine !!. All of these provisions gave a very personnal touch. There is off street parking with enough space for both rooms. In all a most enjojable stay and we would certaintly return if visiting the area in the future.

“Wonderful B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Coach House Cottage and liked it so much we stayed an extra night. We stayed in the downstairs room with its own conservatory, which really made it feel extra special. The bedroom was very spacious and clean, with a lovely big, comfy bed and nice decor so we felt really comfortable and relaxed. Having a superb breakfast brought to your room was another special touch and got the mornings off to a relaxing start. The owner was very friendly, helpful and chatty and gave some great restaurant tips (we've never eaten so well!) Little touches such as the mini fridge, stocked with water and fresh milk and the bowl of fruit were really appreciated and showed attention to detail. Oh, and we loved the two friendly cats that made it feel all the more homely! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Book the downstairs room if you can as the conservatory is an added bonus.

“First Class B&B in Bournemouth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2011

My wife and I stayed at this B&B in early August.
Everything was first class.
We stayed in room 2 which is on the first floor.
It was a large room and very well equipped with a large double bed, 2 reclining arm chairs and a small dining table. There was also a flat screen TV and DVD player with a small selection of DVD's.
There was also a small fridge which was stocked with bottled water and fresh milk for tea and coffee (none of your UHT stuff!!).
The en suite bathroom was large and benefited from a bath and separate shower.
Everything was spotless and very well maintained throughout our stay.
Breakfast, which was served in our room on the dot every morning was excellent.
Jackie our host could not do enough to help and is very knowledgeable about the area.
Although in a residential area, the premises are set at the end of a lane and it is very quiet with only some very distant background traffic noise when the window is open.
The location is very handy for the beach and town centre with both being a 10 minute walk away. It is also close to the local station and bus routes if you don't have your own transport.
All in all I'd give it 10 / 10 and if we are back down that way we will certainly stay there.
