After seeing reviws on Trip Advisor arrived at Laguna hotel not knowing what to expect checked in and were shown to our room 51 which was a clean spacious light and airy room with a very nice Ensuite everyting was clean we had a problem with shower the following morning which was fixed while we were out during the day despite previous comments don't bother complaing nothing is ever done overall we had a very plesent and comfortable stay at this Hotel and on visiting Bournemouth again would have no problem staying at the Laguna again no problem with staff they were always very frindly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel in late July. It is very conveniently located near the centre of town, only a 10 minute walk through the main Bournemouth gardens. Hotel has a family feel, with several separate buildings belonging to the hotel. There was a swimming pool, which was very nice, clean and warm, especially when it was quite cold outside. (yes, it was cold in July!).
Upon arrival we recieved a warm welcome, and keys to 2 rooms located on second floor right next to each other. The rooms could have been cleaned a little better, but when we pointed out the problem, this was attended to straight away with an apology. The hotel is on the main artery leading around Bournemount centre of town, therefore it was a little on a noisy side, but not so bad that it would keep us awake at night. Hotel also has a bar and an evening entertainment. Breakfast was included, however portions very tiny.Overall, good value for money without a doubt.

My friend and I have just returned from The Laguna Hotel after a girly weekend of drinking. If you love the 70's you have to come here!! Just hilarious! From the ornaments to the clashing bed spreads and carpets.Seriously though, I don't understand why people are moaning, if your going to be a cheap skate and pay peanuts for a room then what the hell do you expect?!! The staff were lovely and location was good, it was perfect for us.

We arrived at Laguna Hotel yesterday, hotel is the wrong word more like Laguna Nursing home. The rooms were very dated and you could not open the en-suite door without hitting the TV on the wall. Breakfast was an experience, sausages/orange juice were very cheap and not nice, I have never seen fried bread orange before little worrying!!
I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless they're over 80!!
