“good location, lovely room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

we stayed in the zara penthouse suite, was very pleased with it, nice contemporary styling, great balcony with a lovely view. only bad point was the bed wasn't that comfy and it was two singles pushed together, for a penthouse suite you at least expect a double or king size bed. overall we had a great time, and would definitely come back again.

Dear luke6996,

Our penthouse rooms are some of the finest three star rooms in Bournemouth. We have taken great care in their design to reflect a contemporary feel.

We, as well as many hotels in this day and age use zip and link beds in many of our rooms. They are designed to be used a doubles or if required singles beds. We find it is extremely rare that we recived comment in this area.

Great to hear that you will be returning to us. I do hope your next visit is as good as you last.

Many thanks,

Andrew Potter

Dear Nilesh K,

Customer service is our foremost focus. We tailor our services to emphasis this and always do our best to please.
Zoe has recently joined our team and it is great to see that even after such a short time she has managed to fit into our passionate workforce. I am sure she will do very well with us.

I always recommend taking advantage of our fabulous sea views. Our location boasts some of the finest outlooks in the town.

We all look forward to your next visit.

Many thanks,

Andrew Potter

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Suncliffe Hotel, which was very enjoyable.
The hotel was clean, the food was good especially the breakfast with plenty of choice.
The staff were very polite and very helpful.
The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi which added to the enjoyment.
We would recommend the Suncliffe.

“Great place, great Penthouse suite, great mini break...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

This was our second visit to the Suncliff for my wife's birthday on both occasions, the first time was nice, room was ok with a sea view, 3 course included dinner was lovely breakfast was good but lacked what you would normally want from a full fry up, like mushrooms and hash browns etc, just seemed they didn't make as much effort for breakfast.
Staff were great, all in all an average first stay... Bit of an issue as we were located above a party on the first night, music too loud for our children so we complained and the manager said if we came back again he would look after us....

Well along came Jan 2012 and we tried again..... Absolutely fantastic, penthouse suite was perfect for her birthday, sunrise over the sea viewed from comfy bed, pull out bed for our daughter, big tv, huge bathroom, the only thing that would of topped it off would of been big fluffy dressing gowns...she said, the 3 course dinner was lovely, looked after us well, breakfast needed the full monty, looked like they had the space but forgot to bring the food out, shame as the rest was nice, pool was lovely as ever, it was the highlight for my daughter, nice and warm after being In the cold all day while my wife relaxed in the room.

Will be booking for next year, can't wait....

Dear Jools_Jean,

Fantastic to hear a returning guest has once again enjoyed our stay. I am quite often astounded by the sheer number of regularly returning gusts we have. I feel this is testament to our success.

Sorry to hear about the small noise issue last time. We rarely have problems with excess noise however we are aware that some guest can be more sensitive to noise.

Clearly you have noted the improvements we have made. I’m glad you enjoyed your penthouse stay and it sounds like you all took great advantage of our leisure facilities.

Best wish and see you next time.
