My husband I were married at the Langtry Manor and had a wonderful day guided by the fabulous manager who has subsequently left the hotel. On our wedding anniversary my husband treated me to a banquet evening to enable us to remember our wedding. The food was awful, the "play" was cringingly embarrassing to watch. What spoiled our evening completely was that we had told all the other guests on our table that it was our anniversary and we had got married at the hotel. All the other guests on the table were separately congratulated on their anniversaries or special events and given something ( champagne I think, I was too upset to take much notice) and we were completely ignored, not even spoken to and we were the only ones who had actually got married there! It was a horrible evening and spoilt the memories of our wedding. I'll never go back there and if you want any kind of service don't bother! The family who own it have no idea how guests should be treated and when my husband told them how upset I was they weren't interested. It was an extremely expensive, mediocre meal.

Firstly I would like to sincerely apologise that we did not pick up on the fact that you had had your wedding with us and that it was your anniversary. We try to make sure we do not miss any celebrations and very occasionally we fail. It is unforgivable and you must feel angry and disappointed as a result. I have tried to look into exactly what happened that night and as it was a year ago we are having difficulty. We do wish you the very best for your upcoming Anniversary and hope that your experience last year is eclipsed this year. All the best and regards Tara Howard

The staff are really friendly and helpful the room (the gold cup) cost £200 for the night which is alot but it was amazing huge double spa bath in the bedroom and an amazing 4 poster bed , breakfast was fantastic couldnt have asked for more would love to go back and sip more champagne in the bath whilst watching tele, the ultimate relaxation

Room Tip: if its romance you are after the gold cup is the way to go

“a memorable and relaxing stay!”

I made a trip to Bournemouth to visit my daughter who is studying at the University there. We had a wonderful weekend staying in Langtry Manor Hotel and were treated very well and especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfast in the morning. I have stayed there twice now and will certainly be returning on my next trip to Bournemouth!

“Lovely place to stay”

We spent 2 nights in this hotel with a couple of friends. Really enjoyed our break. Wasn't expecting too much as it was a groupon deal, very pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Room comfortable but a bit dated.

Room Tip: We were at the top of the building which was quiet, no good if you have trouble with climbing stairs...

“AS good as it says!”

Our room was an upgrade with a jacuzzi bath which was wonderfully relaxing, bed v.comfortable and fluffy robes a lovely touch. Staff very friendly and curteous and the food for dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Waiting staff were very attentive.

Room Tip: WE stayed in The Lodge, very peaceful.
