My wife, daughter, partner and I spent an enjoyable Xmas at this hotel. The Manageress and all her staff worked very hard and were friendly and efficient. We had signature rooms which were large, clean and had views over the pier and Bournemouth International Centre. The food throughout the three night stay was first class with quality rather than quantity being the norm. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout. As with previous reviews of this hotel we do not believe it should be a 4 star hotel. There was no mini bar in the room and there is no specific lounge. The hotel converted 2 bedrooms as lounges for the Xmas package. Also the bar area is small and is attached to the restaurant which for some meals was open to the public. However these small niggles should not deter any future visitors who would like to be pamperred. Car parking is a problem as space is severely restricted at the hotel and parking overnight can cost between £7.50 - £12.00 per night.

We travelled to Bournemouth for the Christmas Package. The service was brilliant by the front of house staff, they even offered to store my wifes mobility buggy in the reception area to give better accessibitlity. The front of house manager went above and beyond to ensure that we and the other guests had everything thing we needed. The bar staff (in particular James) were very courteous and attentive, the cocktail mixing activity was particularly entertaining. The location of the hotel for the town centre and beach and pier is excellent. Allocated parking across the road in the BIC. Did'nt need to use the car during our stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. A seperate christmas lounge was setup with tea/Coffe available all day there was also a selection of board games provided. We had a large room on the ground floor, Easy chairw.TV, Table and ample Tea making facilities.

Stayed for one night to see Status Quo at the BIC. Hotel is literally opposite. Clean fresh hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Great restaurant at hotel which served a pre-show menu which was excellent, and the breakfast equally so.
Great find that we will use again.

I booked The Crab for our Christmas meal this year and everyone loved it. There were 14 of us in total. The staff were very attentive - making sure our drinks were topped up (they even poured the water for us) and the food was delivered quickly without making us feel rushed. They had put party hats, crackers and party poppers on the table and as we had pre-ordered our meals they had even made place cards with our menu choices on them so no-one had to try to remember what they ordered.

The food was delicious! Very well presented, well thought out menu and plenty of choice for everyones tastes. The steak in particular was amazing.

I would definitely think about visiting them again, and a number of staff have said they would love to go back again on a normal evening with their family/friends.
