This was our 4th/5th time staying at this hotel, even though we live in Bournemouth the hotel had become something special to us as with every anniversary we used it as an affordable get away, my hubby2b had even purposed to me in the largest room (we believed to be the pent house) so we were very disappointed when we were given a room with not only a hideous 'view' but also stained towels, bed and not to mention the stupidly hard bed which kept me awake all night! ....'good night guaranteed' not this time around!!.. its also a lovely hotel that also seems to not be keeping it up to standards!
i was more frustrated when the receptionist asked how are stay was and i said not so good she ignored us and said thanks for staying with us.... this prompted me to finally joining this site to give my view... as we checked out today! sadly disappointed and may re think before booking next year!!

We stayed here for a family weekend get away and were expecting standard premier inn decor but what a surprise we had the whole hotel is very chic and decorated to a high standard which you would normally find in more luxury upmarket hotels overall a very enjoyable stay all staff were polite and friendly and made us feel all welcome.

Just spent a wonderful one night stay here on Wednesday, was in town for the first part of our short honeymoon break - and visited due to a concert at the BIC. The location is second to none, right on the Westover Road opposite the Pavilion Theatre, a short 1 minute stroll to the gardens. Cut-price parking is on offer, couple of minutes walk to the pier.
The room had a fantastic pier and seaview with balcony (albeit too cold at this time of year). Wonderful restaurant facilities, and of course the signature all you can eat breakfast. You don't need anything else - and I can't imagine any hotel providing anything more.

Bournemouth Central Premier Inn is in no doubt one of the finest Premier Inns I have stayed in, way above average with regards to the decor, room space & service. Staff are polite & friendly and the restaurant is fast serving, if let down a little by the food - but hey, this is a premier inn after all, and it is no better and worse than you would be served at any other of thier locations. If you are on business and want to get out of the hotel, there is a nice bar 10 minutes walk away (to the right upon leaving the front entrance) "Mary Shelley" or a Casino next door to the hotel. Avoid the "Brasshouse" pub [opposite The Pavillion] - it's rough as houses! and not for out of town suit-wearing types!
