“We were very impressed with the accommodation, breakfast was excellent.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2011

We were really impressed with this delightful B & B. The room was large and well appointed. The breakfast was amazing and our hosts were very welcoming. We usually stay in the larger hotels in Torquay and had been dissappointed so we decided to try a 4 Star Bed and Breakfast. We could not have been more pleased and would stay there again.

“A great place for our last minute get away”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2010

Me and the wife decided on a last minute trip to Torquay and after a lot of debate on which B&B we would stay at we decided to book up at Wilsbrook Guest House. It was the pictures that did it for me as it looked modern compared with the typical B&B image I have of a place full of old people, with old flowery wall paper!
As we drove down Avenue Road we were amazed with how many B&B 's there are! Luckly the Wilsbrook is bright blue so I was able to find it with no problems! Thats your first plus point! On walking into the B&B we met Anne. We was invited into the living room which had a large flat scrren TV, Wii, DVD collection and Freeview along with a tropical fish tank and upto date decor and sofas! Straight away I was happy with the decision! I accepted the much needed drink and Anne was happy to spent a bit of time advising us how to get to the town and beach. (The first beach is a ten minute walk away straight down the road. The town centre is probably about another 5 minutes away, but you won't notice as the sights keep you occupied).
We was shown our room, which was a little on the small side, but that wasn't an issue as we didn't plan on staying in all day and evening. It was modern looking and very clean. It had a kettle on the side along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits.
A flat screen TV with DVD player and freeview was on the wall and Wi-Fi was also available. We was in room number two which was situated at the back of the house. We didn't have any interuptions from traffic etc so each night we did have a good nights sleep. Come morning the breakfast was spot on and gave us a good start for the day. They supply fresh fruit juice, fruit etc etc.
Overall we were very happy with the place and would reccommend this to anyone thinking of a visit!

“Excellent all round hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2010

I stayed for 8 weeks on my own when relocating to the area. My entire stay at the Wilsbrook was excellent, made that way by the efforts of Steve and Anne. Since my stay many of my family and friends have stayed there on our recomendation when visiting us and have all been very impressed with the B&B and level of friendly service provided.

“warm welcome , friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 June 2010

we found the welcome from the owners very friendly and genuine.
The room was lovely, very clean, very tidy and had everything we needed.
The breakfeast was wonderful the best bacon we have had in a long time.
The owners made us feel very welcome and gave us all the information we needed on the area.
They also have a lovely dog who made us welcome too.
We will be booking again.

“Great B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2010

Great B&B. Had a single room with ensuite shower, basin, flat screen TV all decorated to a high standard, with all the space I needed including draws, wardrobe etc. Breakfast good. Personable owners who went out there way to make sure I had everything. Highly recommended.
