We spent 2 nights at Grosvenor House in July 2010. Facilities were more than adequate and the B&B was very clean. Breakfasts were great and Nigel & Angela were very friendly and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble for them.

This was a 4 star aa rated hotel,how the aa approved this i would never know it was more like a 2 star, the towels in the room were not changed once in the week we were there.
And we had one evening meal at eighteen pound each which was soup or juice,pie or fish(which was only enough for a child) frozen veg end potatoes then ice cream or tin fruit followed by coffee would you have more than one evening meal there we did'nt, and breakfast when you asked for extra toast or tea they were not very happy,once i had poached egg on toast they give two eggs with one round of toast so i asked for two toast one for each egg you would think i had asked for gold,
In fact we came away a day early and headed up to blackpool , I have not been to Torquey for over twenty years and was looking forward to it,but it was spoilt by this,also it
says nothing in there advert that there hotel is up a very steep hill which i think you should know.

Adequate off-road private parking immediately adjacent to the Hotel & easily accessible at any time during our stay. Freshly decorated to a high standard both internally and externally with double glazing throughout. Informal friendly atmosphere providing high levels of service at all times from the hosts Agela & Nigel. Hearty & varied menu ensured a variety of choices were available and nothing being too much trouble. Super location fairly close to the sea front and near to Torre Abbey. Bar available together with choice of evening meals if required.

booked a 3 night break, we were made very welcome, our delux 6 foot bed was a dream we slept so well, food and hotel well presented, we will stay here again.
