“Home from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We had a lovely extended weekend for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in January of this year. Our room was beautifully presented and very clean with a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast is very good and we also had an excellent 4 course evening meal specially for our anniversary. Hosts Tony & Pauline are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent value for money and comes highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back again this year. The nearby amenities are also good with a great fish and chip shop a few yards down the road. The Bygones Victorian Street is worth a visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Green room which was bright and had a window on two sides of the room.

“Perfect for a woman travelling on her own”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

What a gem of a place! I cannot recommend this B & B highly enough. Perfect for a woman travelling on her own. Pauline and Tony are perfect hosts, friendly and helpful but not too much and their ideas for refurbishment will make it even better. A very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Room 6 was fine for me but if you are very tall it may be a problem in the bathroom.

“Ideal break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

FAB-U-LOUS Pauline and Tony were the perfect hosts. The room and ensuite were spotless. The meals were excellant good sized portions beautifully cooked and served. There was such attention to detail with extras on the tea tray, pretty toiletries in the shower room and there was plenty of help and advice on finding your way round the area. Everything you could think of was done. It was the best guest house that we have ever stayed in here or overseas. We have no hestitation recomending your stay here it will make your holiday break. Thank you Tony and Pauline we look forward to our next visit.
