My husband and I visited this charming hotel on the off chance - we had jumped in the car at Bristol with nowhere in mind to go - we eventually ended up in Torquay and drove around for a while - We saw the Hudson hotel from the outside and called up to see if there was a room available, we were advised that there was and checked in straight away. The initial impression was good - a nice modern reception area everything was very clean and bright. We were greeted by nice man who checked us in and took us up to our room - WOW - what a room! a very comfortable bed, beautiful bay window and a sea view! The breakfast was good to. If you want a very good value for money hotel, in walking distance of the sea front and shopping centre, you cant go wrong with The Hudson Hotel. Thanks for an excellent stay! Vickie & Lee Brown.

Spent the weekend at Hudson Hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, and always had time for a chat with the guests. The hotel is modern and clean, and is situated only a short walk away from the town and marina. Breakfast is served quickly and there is plenty of choice. Will not think twice about returning to stay again. Thank you Paul and Brian

“Really lovely family weekend.”

We have just returned from a really enjoyable 2 night stay at the hudson hotel. The staff were polite and attentive the rooms were fab!! Super comfy beds and fluffy towels! The only slight negative was the owners dog barking at 7.30 in the morning. We were the only ones from our party of 6 that heard it though so i think it had something to do with the location of our room. All in all a lovely hotel we would return on a future visit to torquay!! Thankyou
