Would visit again best place to stay in Torquay

Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, we were in the Tuscany room which was spacious. The owners are very welcoming, providing useful local information including personal restaurant recommendations. Fabulous breakfast provided with friendly, efficient service. Just a short walk down the hill to the town centre and sea front.

My Husband and I stayed at the Hillcroft for one night in June and we were so impressed.
We were welcomed with cake and tea in the bar and the owners were so friendly giving us ideas on where to go in Torquay - they equipped us with maps and lots of information and even booked our restaurant for us that evening! Room was beautiful, gorgeous four poster bed with beautiful decor, sofa, tv, shower room, spotlessly clean - all you could ask for. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with a wide variety of breakfast options. Service fantastic. If we are in Torquay again we will definetly come and stay!

I stayed here with my partner in May 2011 for a long weekend. The hotel is lovely the couple who ran the hotel were friendly and welcoming they had a vast local knowledge and were honest about the local area restaurants. The rooms were lovely and clean they had good range of amenities (TV and DVD Player) however the four poster bed we stayed in was rather high and could be a little difficult to get into especially after a few drinks. The location was lovely however and about a 15 minute walk to the centre. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of choice and the bar was well stocked with a variety of beverages, i would recomend people to stay here if they are looking for a relaxing break and felt very refreshed when i returned.
