My wife and I had a 3 day break at the Headland from 3 Feb. The hotel itself was a lovely period building well maintained and in good decorative order. The evening meal was a five course meal of excellent quality and the breakfast had sufficient variety to satisfy the most fussy eater. The service couldn't be faulted. A minor criticism was that our room was a bit on the small side but it had everything we needed including a good view out to sea. In spite of the cold weather the hotel was comfortably warm throughout.
