We were disappointed. Given the good ratings on booking.com and Trip Advisor we expected better. The hotel was tired and rundown. We had a very cosy bedroom with an even smaller bathroom where the toilet didn't work properly and the shower was tiny. Attention to detail was also lacking - the batteries in the TV remote were dead and we had to ask for tea bags as these hadn't been replenished from the previous day. Car parking was problematic - a very small car park on a very steep slope. We also had to change our booking to arrive a day earlier. Given we had booked in Australia the confirmation from booking.com went back to Australia - hence we emailed Braddon Hall Hotel to confirm the change of dates. We received no response from Braddon Hall - which was extremely disappointing.

Good location - easy walking distance from Torquay town centre.

Stayed for four nights Friday to Monday .. Hotel is ideally situated for all the local amenities although any one with walking difficulties should be aware thet area is very hilly, Hotel was lovely room spacious and had everything you wanted. Really clean and beautiful crisp white bed linen. Wayne and Debbie are perfect hosts available if you want them very helpful but not intrusive, Breakfast was great varied choice and cooked to perfection. Superb value for money and would not hesitate to recommend.

We only stayed for 3 nights, wished it could have been more as I would have loved to spend a day, lazing about on the chaise longue, next to the window, with a good book. Our room was excellent, we stayed in the four poster room which was spacious with a good size shower in the en suite. Breakfast was delicious, with my beloved marmite on hand, which was great, as on my next visit, I know I wont have to take my own!Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Torquay and cant wait to go again. Will definately be staying at Braddon Hall again, hopefully for at least a week. Loved the whole experience, From the welcome, the food, the room and the lovely creamy complimentory soap!
