We were on holiday from New Zealand, we found the accomodation pricing great value for money and everything we needed was there. Having the opition of teamaking in the room was great. The breakfast was prepared and presented well. Parking a little bit of a squeeze. The hosts, owners were very friendly and made you feel at home. Happy to share were to visit.

The Heathcliff House Bed and Breakfast was an inexpensive, no frills bed and breakfast in Torquay. The owners / hosts were very friendly and were happy to provide recommendations around Torquay of things to do. The breakfast (served in the basement ) was prompt and offered full English, Continental and Cereal. The room was small but contained a queen bed, a small shower room (which also recommended that showers be taken in off peak hours) as well as a kettle and coffee. The decor was a little dated but it was clean. No wireless Internet. The in house lounge / bar seemed to be a gathering spot but was located away from the rooms as to not be bothersome. The parking is extremely tight. The location was in the middle of Torquay, about 5 minutes drive from the Torre Abbey and about 10 minutes from the train station.
