“Beat the Winter Blues”

We recently stayed at Kingston House, Torquay and enjoyed a relaxing break. Jo and Will gave us a warm welcome and also provided tips on where to eat and places to visit. The bedroom we stayed in was immaculate and very tastefully decorated with a good sized bathroom. I had to log-on for work purposes and found the Wifi easy to use with very quick access. Having travelled down from Kent we found the beds very comfortable and both enjoyed a peaceful and good nights' sleep. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and would loved to have stayed longer. Jo & Will have made Kingston House very warm and relaxing with lovely touches in the rooms. We would definitely recommend a stay here! Many thanks.

Room Tip: All rooms are good and feel that guests would be happy in any of rooms.

“Lovely weekend spent here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We have just returned from our stay at Kingston House, Torquay. We received a very warm welcome from the owners, Jo and Will, when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well decorated, as was the en-suite bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor and had a large and comfortable bed. There was a television, fridge, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There was also free wi-fi so we were able to use our laptop. The breakfast was delicious. There were cereals, fruit, yogorts, fruit juices and a lovely cooked breakfast. If you wanted something different, you only had to ask. Will and Jo were very friendly and welcoming and we would stay there again without hesitation.

“Totally Recommend a Stay Here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

We stayed in Kingston House on a tour of Isle Of Wight, Devon, Cornwall and Bath, and this place was by far our favourite place in which we stayed. The owners were a lovely couple and very accomodating, being freindly and helpful without being intrusive.

We stayed in the luxury 4 poster double room, and we weren't disappointed at all, it lived up to the description! The room had a lovely large and comfortable bed, a fridge, sofa, trouser press, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was lovely and similiar to the room, and in my optinion the most important feature, both were spotless, very clean indeed! After being out and about in the day it was a pleasure to return to this room and felt really comfortable.

The breakfast was again, the best we experienced on our tour of hotels and B&B's. In keeping with the rest of the house the breakfast room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast included fresh juices and fruit and cereal followed by your choice of a cooked breakfast, all of which was lovely and wonderfully presented.

Kingston House is situated a short walk to the main Torquay centre and beach, making it a great location too.

All in all, this place is a must, everything is well considered, and there are so many nice touches to the place, including the lovely fresh smell as soon as you walk in, don't look any further book Kingston House, you won't be disappointed, they work really hard to retain one of the best reviews for places to stay in Torquay and it is totally deserved!

“Superb in Every Way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

Three friends and I travelled to Torquay to visit the National Flower Competitions and stayed at Kingston House, which was an excellent choice. Will & Jo, the owners, have gone the "extra mile" in making their accommodation very comfortable well furnished rooms, clean and a delicious breakfast menu to choose from. They are also very helpful and Will came to our rescue in assisting with a broken windscreen wiper which was a godsend to 4 ladies. They were more than willing to book theatre tickets, restaurants, taxis, etc.
There would be no hesitation in returning for a future stay and Kingston House comes highly recommended.

“Everything we could wish for and more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

My friend and I travelled from Israel to Torquay for the Agatha Christie festival and we stayed at Kingston House.
Jo & Will ( the owners of Kingston House) were terrific , attentive and very helpful . The B&B is in walking distance of the harbor and the main shopping street. Also you have Torr train station 5 minutes away.
We stayed in the twin bedroom and enjoyed every minute of it. The room has a TV, bathroom and everything you could need except for a computer . However if you bring a laptop they have a very speedy Wi-Fi connection. Also they serve a breakfast to die for:)
So to sum it all up- great location, great price and great hosts make for a wonderful trip.
