I recently stayed two nights at the Dudley Hotel and very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel is well located being a short walk from the rail station, which is one of the main reasons I chose it. The bed was very comfortable and the room well equipped, with a really good strong shower. Breakfast is great with local ingredients used where possible and the chef very open to preparing what every individual wanted. Other guests were friendly and the whole experience was like being home from home. During the second evening I twisted my ankle and the owner could not have been kinder or more helpful. Certainly well above and beyond the call of duty! It would be great if they were able to offer food in the evening but that is the only additional facility that I would really appreciate. I strongly recommend the Dudley Hotel in every other respect.
