Had a weekend break there. We could not fault the hotel, well equipped rooms, spotlessly clean and friendly cheerful staff. The price was excellent. Well done Premier Inn.

We arrived here last minute, after checking out of a dump of another plymouth hotel we made the mistake of booking.
The girl on reception was really helpful and found us a room - it had not been made up so spent a good 20 minutes cleaning, vacuming and changing everything over - we didnt mind the wait -
It was a little pricey at £140 for 2 nights but we did arrive last minute and the room and hotel itself where spotless. I'll certainly stay here again its right on the Barbican - prime location with free parking

This hotel is located in a lovely place with really helpful staff. We travelled down to this from up north and they let us check in early and organised evening meals in the adjacent restraunt for us. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfy.
The only complaint I had was we were put next to the swing door which was annoying when you are tired and want to sleeo and the walls are partition walls and you can hear next doors every move.
We ate in the table table restraunt , the food was good and a bargain and we even got a free glass of wine :)
We used the hotel as a base to see the uni and thought it was great as it was only a 15 min walk all flat and parking was free at the hotel. The hotel has some good rates too we only paid 25 quid!!! Ideal for anyone any age!

We booked in here because we were looking for a city centre location. We did not really expect much because it was relatively cheap.

However what a wonderful surprise - ( and you will see from our other reviews , we are used to
5 * accommodation )

On our very late arrival we were greeted and expected! All the amenities and services were explained in full, the staff was so very helpful and eager to help.

During our stay we found the front desk staff ( usually 1 person) more than willing to give directions, - order taxis- etc and cannot fault the service in any way.

The breakfast we paid for, was served by super efficient staff and the food was exactly what and how you order it. ( My husband tucked in and enjoyed everything any full English could provide)

The only negative ( and this was probably because I never thought to ask ) is that there was no lift. However a ground floor room would have taken care of this.

My suggestion is - book early - get a good rate and enjoy the area around the marina.

We would never hesitate to go back there.
