I was really surprised that a hotel could be this bad. After all, at £40 it was not any cheaper than several of the other places where one can get far better single ensuite accommodation.
The room I stayed in had a double and a single bed - and there was hardly any room to walk around to the bathroom and toilet (which were separate). I kept hurting my knee against the corner of the bed! The decor was some kind of weird green - and everything looked really shabby. They didn't bother to clean the bathroom on the first day - hence I returned to a lovely pile of my own hair in the corner of the shower after the day.
The really odd part, however, was the unfriendly behaviour of the host and hostess - the latter seemed positively put out by my presence.
Never again!
