We arrived very late at night on a freezing cold night, and were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, which was spotless and inviting.Breakfast next morning was freshly cooked and delicious. We couldn't have found a more helpful family who did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Will definitely use again on our next visit.

I found this B&B on the internet and the previous reviewers were right. It's an excellent place with a friendly family running it and it was spotlessly clean throughout. We took our two dogs with us which was a real treat for us, however, if you're not a dog owner, don't worry there was no evidence in the rooms that pets may have stayed there before. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the sea, and beautiful parks. This B&B has everything going for it and it is topped off by an excellent breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed Plymouth and we would definately come back. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Westwinds enough.

The owners, Phil and family, were lovely .. rooms clean and modern .. location excellent .. and Molly and Oscar (the dogs) are gorgeous.

We have stayed at Westwinds twice now .. and both times it was excellent.

We have a small Bichon Frise and chose Westwinds because it allowed us to have a dog .. and for a very reasonable £5 per stay (not per day) fee.

The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The TV had freeview .. which was a nice extra. Breakfast was one of the best I've had.

The owners, Phil and family, strike just the right balance between friendly and intrusive .. my fiancee and I are both fairly private people and often B&B owners can be too familiar, but here the balance was perfect. I was impressed that they remembered us from over 2 years earlier, as well.

Location is perfect - just off Plymouth Hoe - ideal for walks and for shopping / nightlife.

Myself and my family stayed at westwinds for two nights, the 26th and 27th Sept 2008.

Rooms were spotless, and very comfortable. Phil and family were very friendly indeed, food was very good indeed and very filling. WELL DONE.

We will definately use again when we next visit Plymouth, the location was great ten minute walk and you could reach all parts, ie the town the port the hoe, excellent.
