We stayed at Poppy's mid August. Excellent value for money and service and Diane (the owner) is very friendly and helpful. We had a triple room very comfy, spacious and clean. The location is perfect, close to the Hoe, Barbican and the town centre.
We highly recommend Poppy's and we hope to come again in the next future!

We stayed two nights here for 50 pound a night and it was brilliant. This was a great location being very accessible to the Barbican, the Hoe and to the shopping centre. Our bedroom was a big room on the ground floor and we were very impressed with the facilities. The hostess made us most welcome, helped us with off street parking, and details about the area. Breakfast was super, so much so that on the second morning we asked for a smaller serve!!

Poppy's is great value and ideally located!
The rooms are lovely, the beds are very comfy and the breakfast is fantastic.
The fresh pot of tea on arrival was a lovely touch.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Poppy's and would not hesitate to recommend the BnB to others!

We stayed at Poppy's for 3 nights while visting Plymouth to watch the fireworks. I am always anxious when I go to a new guest house for the first time but had no need to worry. It was a good location to use as a base near to the city centre and the Hoe, ideal for our visit. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. My husband had the full english on the first morning and was full all day. I would have no worries about recommending this Guest House. We arrived by train and the walk was not too long but if you have large suitcases you may want a taxi.
