Very friendly and welcoming. We were a late booking - arriving late and leaving early. The bed was fantastic - nice and firm and the sheets were nice cotton. The room was very warm, due to the weather so we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. We are used to a colder climate. For those who like to be warm, you would not worry you could be cold if you stayed here.
Good breakfast and easy parking. Maybe back if having to visit the area again

A quintessentially British b&b with all the old charm but updated decor. Ran by husband and wife who had lots of time for our family. Nice clean breakfast and for a good price.
Make sure you ask for a room downstairs if you have trouble with stairs.

“So welcoming - will be happy to return”
The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast is superb with a non-meat option. An added bonus is off-street parking. It was a really relaxing stay and we will be happy to return.

“absolutely first class”
Owners very friendly and helpful. Room spotlessly clean, very comforable bed with excelent bedding. Situation ideal for the Hoe, Barbican and town, a few minutes walk in every direction. Ideal to be able to park car off the road.

“A lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, excellent food and friendly owners.”
We stayed here for one night to visit our daughter. The hotel is spotlessly clean and was lovely and warm. The room was very cosy and a lovely comfortable bed. Owners were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was superb.
Our only tiny complaint was that the shower was very small but we managed.
There was also a small car park which was a real bonus.
Room Tip: Well worth a stay.
