Excellent staff, excellent location (on The Hoe overlooking the sea), very good breakfast good facilities and very clean are the good points. Not so good points are that it is a bit dated in many areas and the bed was very firm which will suit some but not us. We booked on a very good deal and so have no complaints.

Hello everybody, Guten tag, I stayed 2 weeks here and 3 weeks in Holiday Inn Porstmouth and my girlfriend called every night, at no time was she informed that you are charged for incoming calls, as you are transferred when u call reception. I was then informed by parent company ICH that this does not happen. I was a gold member, 638837779 but I and my company will never use these hotels again. This is also the only hotel group to have the cheek to charge its customers!! Vorsicht wann mann hier bleibt, wann jiemand anrufen will, kostet 10 cent pro minute! Steht nicht im hotel documentation.

Stayed at this hotel in January and could not fault it, great facilities including a medium sized swimming pool with Sauna and steam room plus a Gymn, the hotel is located near Plymouth Hoe and the city centre, the location could not be equalled anywhere, the staff are very friendly too.
Breakfast is served in the penthouse restaurant on the top floor and the views are amazing , the breakfast is buffet style and you have a choice of everything really.
This is a great value Place to stay in the city and I would definitely stay there again, Brilliant!!

I stayed here alone on business & received a Priority Club upgrade. A polite reception ( not over friendly) although all the information was conscientiously given. The room was well equipped (fridge, trouser press, cd player, ironing board & very nice Yves Rocher toiletries) with comfortable beds. The TV was rather elderly but they're probably waiting to upgrade these when the digital switchover is complete... The room service was fine, efficient & cheerful. The hotel is well located, handy for both the Hoe & the town centre. I would happily recommend this hotel for anyone going to Plymouth.
