We had a lovely stay at the Bowling Green Hotel. Lovely clean rooms, great breakfast and very good service from the staff and owner. Would definetely reccomend a stay if you are visiting Plymouth

Excellent service and a very friendly welcome from Tom. Beautifully appointed rooms throughout hotel. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable beds, and nice touches - hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee; shower gel and shampoo in bathroom. Delicious breakfast menu, with a choice of more than just "a full English" with again nice touches- seeds and raisins to add to variety of fruit, as well as a choice of yoghurts, cereals and croissants. Lovely conservatory off breakfast room. Excellent position on The Hoe and easy walk to the city centre and all attractions - Smeaton's tower, the Barbican and the sea. Lots of interest to see and do in Plymouth - we wished we had had more time.

Only stayed one night en route to Cornwall but wouls loved to have stayed longer. Superb location close to Plymouth Hoe and plentiful attractions and also close to city centre if required. Owner very friendly and helpful, rooms impeccably clean and breakfast very good.

Nothing bad to say, this place is five star, very clean, very friendly, breakfast was excellant and Tom the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay again.
