The Riverside is a lovely B&B, set right by the river and most room overlooking the sea as well. We stayed in room 5. The room was comfortable and clean and extra pillows were provided without asking. Can't say that there was too much noise through the night other than listening to the beautiful river flow outside. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of cereals, toast, juices, tea or coffee and a fantastic 'full english'. The owners seemed very nice altough we didn't see much of them. Lynton and Lynmouth are beautiful places to visit and my only complaint was that we had only booked one night.
Would most definitely stay here again.

A very good visit to lynmouth, the whole place was very clean... owners friendly and gave good local information on arrival....good size rooms with beautiful views over the harbourt from teh balcony.....a very good breakfast......can't fault it really.....

Have just returned from a wonderful weekend staying at Riverside Cottages. Well what can I say, this place is lovely, spotlessly clean, so welcoming and they do a fantastic breakfast. The owners Sue and Richard not only made myself and my husband feel welcome but also our dog, offering extra towels to dry him off if need and providing him with his regular morning sausage for breakfast. The local pub “The Village Inn” is also very dog friendly with the landlord dishing out treats to all of the dogs in there. At one point he did a count and there were 14 dogs, all well-behaved either sitting or lying on the floor next to their owners. This is a great resort of you have a dog as the walks are wonderful and you are always made to feel welcome in shops/cafes/bars etc. We will definitely be returning 
