My partner and I stayed here with my Mum and Step Dad who are repeat visitors at the River Lyn view as they love it so much, they have stayed in a couple of places over Lynmouth and have said this is the best place to stay by far, and I must say it lived up to all expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious & cosy. The breakfast was wonderful and the tastiest eggs I have ever had. Little touches like offering fresh milk when we arrived for tea/coffee were most appreciated and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Carol and Ray for your contribution to our wonderful weekend in such a beautiful place.

We stayed here Sept 2010 but forgot to report to TA. We had a lovely weekend here, fantastic breakfast, cosy room, dedicated owners, great views from room. Ideal for exploring North Devon.
We enjoyed it so much we have rebooked for Easter 2011.

We recently visited Lynton and Lynmouth with our two young children, it was a rather last minute decision to stay there and we found it difficult to find somewhere with a family room available. We knocked on the door of River Lyn View and they were very very helpful and offered us a double room with the option of putting in a couple of air beds in for our youngsters. What a great idea! The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean. The attention to detail and all the added touches made for a very comfortable stay. We had a lovely view over the river Lyn and it took only a couple of minutes to wonder down into the main part of the town. Would highly recommend, and especially to any families with young children as it made our stay more affordable and we were able to extend our visit. Lynmouth is beautiful! Delicious breakfast and thank you Carol for our crab bait!

I stayed at River Lyn View for one night, while on a walking holiday with my sister. We arrived feeling quite exhausted after walking from Porlock, and were made very welcome by the owners. Our room was very comfortable, and quiet.
There was a wide range of options for breakfast, all cooked fresh to order, and the service was great. When we left, the owner very kindly drove us to the start of the Coast Path, to save us waiting half an hour for the railway to open.
I would recommend River Lyn View to anyone looking for a quiet and friendly B&B, just a few minutes stroll from the centre of Lynmouth.
