My partner and I stayed for New Year 2011. Although we had been to Lynmouth before, this waxy out first stay at East Lyn.

The place is wonderful and the hosts friendly without being remotely overbearing. Although there was a party for all guests we decided to gO to the local pub to see in 2012. Everyone said they had a lovely time at the party though.

I would recommend this to anyone and I had an amazing and relaxing time in Lymouth and the East Lyn was a big part of that.

Highly recommended by a family member. My first reservation for a two night stay in a friendly atmosphere in comfortable well decorated rooms throughout the house. Paul and Barbara worked hard to ensure all the guests enjoyed the celebratory evening meal and drinks to welcome in the New Year 2012.

After a great stay in the summer, I returned with my other half in tow. I had told him how good it was, and after three nights he agreed with my judgement - first class place to stay!
Paul and Barbara make you feel at home and very welcome, nothing is too much trouble - from the cup of tea on arrival to enabling us to watch the rugby world cup final while breakfast is in full flow.
The rooms are clean and tidy, the TV and selection of DVD's very welcome on a dark wet evening, the breakfast first class and the evening meal very tasty and reasonably priced.

All in all we can't fault the East Lyn and when we return we will be staying here.
