we enjoyed our stay with this lovely couple immensely. room was comfortable ,clean and quiet. the sound of the river sent us off to sleep every night. my husband was out early every morning walking the river to watch the wildlife, before enjoying a wonderful breakfast. no problem parking as we bought a weekly ticket which allowed us to park in local car parks.we do not have dogs and found no problems with the guest that did . house is a beautifully kept.like home from home. '

We both enjoyed our week and our 2 Red Setters (Fleur and Breeze) certainly loved it, and the sausages for breakfast. If ever we visit that area we will certainly be back to recieve such a warm welcome. Fantastic service clean and tidy with lovely view of river from our room. THANKS AGAIN for a fantastic week.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn't fault it. Our room was lovely the breakfasts were delicious and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
I don't think you could get a better place to stay than this at such a good price, the only downside was the parking but we managed to park on the opposite side of the river for no charge and it was only a short walk away.
The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in (including my own)!!

spent 2 nights at hillside house, lynmouth, room was clean and spacious the view from our room was overlooking the river which was a bonus, breakfast was huge plenty of choice, only downside was lack of on site parking and although clean the bed clothes had a distinct doggy smell. Having said that prob would stop again. Hosts were both very friendly liked a bit of a chat.
