“Our Stay At The Featherville”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Kay and Richard are fantastic hosts, who really make you feel welcome. The hotel decor was absolutely first class in every way, and you could easily see how it they had achieved the five star rating. The selection of breakfast choices were wonderful, and cooked to perfection. Definitely not to be missed!

Room Tip: Friends had Room 6 before us, and we followed suit. An excellent view over Lynmouth.

“Too good for words”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

We have just had our 3rd visit to the Heatherville and it really is just the most delightful place to stay. The welcome from Kay and Richard makes you feel like friends not hotel guests. The hotel is immaculate in every way and the breakfast super, just make sure you are not on a diet or you will be truly missing out. We are already looking forward to next year when we can visit again. Lynmouth is a beautiful place and the Heatherville the only place to stay.

Sara and Derek

Room Tip: Would be impossible to choose they are all lovely.

The friendly welcolme received from Kay and Richard on our Arrival was Much appreciated after a long Journey with Tea and Biscuits on Offer. The rooms were clean and decorated to a high standard.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection with a good selection of choices and well presented.

The personnel touch made it a very enjoyable hoilday

“Five Stars and some..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

We stayed at the Heatherville for two nights on the back of a two week UK driving tour. From Kent to York, Edinburgh to Loch Ness, Loch Lomond to Lake Windermere and through Wales to Lynmouth stayed in four and five star accomodation throughout. None had quite the welcome or service offered by Kay & Richard. They have a talent for making you feel very comfortable and very well looked after. The house, location and accomodation speaks for itself and deserves all the accoloades it has received under the management of Kay & Richard. We ourselves work in the five star luxury tourism sector and when on our own travels expect a level of service in accordance with the price we are paying. At the Heatherville this level of sevice is abundant and always delivered with a smile. For example; we had a particularly bad night at a local eatery and decided to leave after the entree. We had planned to have the cheese board but decided to call it a night. When we told Kay & Richard of our experience over a couple of glasses of Port Kay disappeared. Kay returned shortly after armed with a cheese board and the intent that we 'were not going to have a spoilt evening'. That kind of 'extra mile' these days is so hard to find and rarely experienced but we think it sums up the Heatherville perfectly. We left Lynmouth with two new friends and are looking forward to seeing them again. Thanks to you both also for all your advice.

Room Tip: All very good with their own individual charms.

“Fantastic Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

What a fantastic experience my wife and I enjoyed staying at the Heatherville Hotel, we fully enjoyed ourselves. The service was outstanding (second to none) and Richard and Kay went out of their way to make our stay special. In all our years of holidays and hotel stays we have never experienced something so special. We are already planning our next visit (even longer this time) and we feel we have made some true friends in Richard and Kay. If you want a special holiday with the highest standard of service this is it. The rooms were immaculate, the food faultless, the hospitality truly exceptional and exceptional value for money. The other guests had exactly the same opinion. Thank you again for a truly wonderful holiday at your gorgeous hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are exceptional
