Just had to write a few words on this fantastic little place. If you want a romantic weekend with lots of amazing scenery to visit (and just look out of the hotel at) this is the place.
Have stayed here twice, both times in one of the front facing rooms with the four poster beds. My tip is to leave your window open if the weather permits and be serenaded by the many owls in the woods surrounding the site. It's a real experience!

...... that's all you can say. Location, food, views, room, wine list, hosts,company and even the weather (6th to 10th April). This place is great in Spring - we will be back during the other seasons just to check them out as well ! This small hotel was a great find.

Chanced upon this very special hotel and what a find! Colette and Martin are superb hosts, very professional yet warm and friendly. Food you would consider excellent in a 5 star hotel. Absolutely immaculately clean, comfy beds, amazing views, breakfasts cooked to perfection. Set on a wooded cliff it is unbelievably quiet. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and am telling everyone who will listen that they must go there! Will definitely return.

If you want a quiet and beautiful location, peace, luxury and food of the highest quality - go no further. The Woody bay Hotel is a very special venue and the hosts cut no corners in terms of their attention to detail and providing the best ingredients for exceptional menus.
We stayed there 2 nights and I have to say it was just amazing! Very peacful and relaxed break! Beatiful views from the bedroom windows! Delicious food and wine for affordable price. Lovely walks on your doorsteps!!!
