We have stayed a few times at this Hotel...and I must say it gets better each time! The greeting is always more that welcoming, the room is always spotless, and the complimentary wine most acceptable. But...the best part is yet to come...The Breakfast! Beautifully presented...wonderful friendly service...great selection of cereals, juices and pastries...wonderful plate of home and local made marmalades and jams...and simply the best scrambled egg I have ever tasted! This is not a 5 star swank hotel, but they could all learn a lesson or two from this hotel.

Four weeks in UK – best accommodation on whole trip. Located in a nice area about 10 minutes walk from the main street in the city and even less from the Exeter Central station. Very welcoming and hospitable staff – offered us tea or coffee even when we were just dropping off cases and arrived unnanounced. Room elegantly decorated with queen bed, arm chair, writing/dressing table, elegant bathroom with toiletries. Good television. Free WiFi. Tea Coffee facilities. Wonderful breakfast, nice dining room, cooked breakfast to order, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, porridge, toast , jams. Could not do enough for us and all their guests. Highly recommended – almost worth a trip to visit this lovely city just to stay there! Sorry the pics are a litttle blurry

Welcomed with a cup of tea in the lounge. Took care of us well - friendly and helpful throughout.

Stayed one night after late booking end of October.

Conveniently situated but difficult to find.
Pleasant and very clean comfortable room.

Good value and excellent breakfast with most helpful staff.
Limited parking.
