If you book a Family Room beware of the Pub's opening hours which are until Midnight or 1am Monday-Saturday. The rooms are above a lively but noisy bar area. However, the room we stayed in could have been cleaner and better prepared.
The bathroom had various minor problems (shaving light and heated towel rail did not work, the shower head was attached by cable ties and could not be adjusted).
The bedroom had various minor problems (1 bedside lamp could not be switched on or off, no remote control for the TV, the chest of drawers and similar 3 drawer unit were dirty inside - sawdust from missing handles and one drawer had human hairs in, there was an old advent calendar on top of the wardrobe) plus there were three of us - so there were 3 saucers, 2 cups and 1 teaspoon.
There was also a lot of traffic noise late night and early morning which the sash windows (one of which had to be propped open with a lump of wood) could not keep out.
As we were down dropping our son off at the University we simply paid up, but I wish I had taken notice of the poor review I saw on this site.
I personally would avoid the Crawford if you need a family room.
