The absolute highlight of the Dart Marina is the view... and the fact that there are binoculars provided in your room for you to obsess over it! The ever-changing river and busy boat traffic were fascinating to watch, and it was hard to tear ourselves away.

The room was large and nicely furnished, with a vast and comfortable bed (plus some of the nicest pillows I've ever slept on). We enjoyed using the spa (although the tiny pool was rather smaller than we'd expected), and were impressed with the quality of the massage there. The breakfasts were delicious, particularly the creamy porridge, and the staff were extremely polite and attentive.

We dined in the restaurant one evening, and were overjoyed by the delicious food and wide-ranging menu. The food came quickly and was simply delicious. Having had a little trouble with our shower in the afternoon, we were surprised to presented with a complimentary bottle of wine in recognition of our problems... really unexpected, but a very nice touch that increased our resolve to stay at such a thoughtful establishment again. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Dartmouth, and we had a lovely, comfortable stay. We will be back!

We stayed here for our anniversary and found it really comfortable with lovely food. All the rooms have views over the river Dart and ours overlooked the ferry and had a balcony we could sit on and take in the view. Dartmouth is a lovely town to explore and we had a great time.

First impressions of the hotel outside weren't that inspiring, looks a bit tired, it's not old enough to carry off being classy and not modern enough to look contemporary. Having said that the reception is great and the staff were first rate with their welcome.
Our room was a standard room with a balcany, very modern, sharp and clean, with good views over the marina, although it was small and although didn't have a lot of furniture, did feel a little clostraphobic.
We stayed and had dinner with them built into the price, which was excellent quality, again with great service, matched only by breakfast in the morning.
Overall, ok value for money given location and service. For us the great views and the staff, who were excellent throughout, really make this hotel.

Staying at the Dart Marina over christmas reminds me of what it must be like to live as one of the family in Downton Abbey. The food is amazing, and everything is done for you. You dont have to think about a thing. The most difficult decision of the day is what to wear to dinner. Great value for money, and we have already booked back in for our third year in a row!
