Hillfield is a great place to stay for a long weekend or for a week -2 week holiday. It's perfect for families. This is our 8th visit in less than 5 years and have stayed both in and out of season, we have never been let down or disappointed with our visits.
The cottages are immaculate and Michael and Caroline the owners are great hosts that work incredibly hard to make your stay perfect. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, accommodation pristine and everything you could wish for is there. It manages to cater for couples and families, private yet kid friendly.

We returned to Hillfield for our second time in 3 years. This time we stayed in the Keeper's cottages and were happy to see the same high standards were still in place. The cottage was spotless,comfortable and well provisoned with everything you need for self catering. The Hillfield grounds are well maintained and present a very relaxing experience.Michael and Caroline the owners were friendly and as ever very helpful with advice and suggestions for things to do and see in the surrounding area. Highlights of our trip included a trip to Pennywell Farm, a day out at Paignton Zoo and a wonderful dinner in the Laughing Monk Restaraunt only 15 mins away by Car. If you are fortunate to get some good weather do make your way down to the Blackpool Sands beach. A great stay for both Adults and Children and hopefully we will return for many a year to come.
