We stayed at this hotel for a weekend holiday.
Considering our budget, we didn't expect too much of this hotel initially. But what we found is a very nice B&B hotel. I could say that, apart from they have no swimming pool, the facilities they offer are comparable to a 5 stars hotel!
Just to mention some of them, they provide full set of towel, welcome fruit (that is replaced at the second day), jug plus full set of drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate), tv+free view box, hairdryer, and even bathrobe. We also really love the good quality bedding.
The room is very clean, spacious and equipped with several wardrobes. Though not very close to the beach, our room is facing the beach, so its offer a nice view. The shower is nice with 3 options of water pressures.
We also impressed by the breakfast. They offer several types of breakfast, including vegetarian. The coffee is also another good thing from this hotel.
Another thing which make this place is so special is the warmth offer by Phil, Nicky and their 9 years old son. For example, Phil gave us a color print out of a map when we ask for some direction. Nicky was offer us some cutlery and sauce when she found out that we took some take-away food to be eaten in their dining room. John is a very friendly guy for us. He was very nice to chat with and even let my partner hugged his 40 year old Teddy bear (yes the teddy bear is much older than John, it has been passed through generations!)
Location wise, the accommodation is also great, though may be not very special considering that a lot of other accommodations around the area. It is about 8 minutes to the entrance of tintagel castle and about 8 minutes (to the other direction) to the entrance of bossiney cove.
We paid GBP 112 for two person for 2 nights which we consider is a great value.
Please be noted that they have very limited rooms, so it is very wise to book in advance whenever possible.
overall, we are very happy to stay there and look forward to stay there again in the future.
