This B&B is the best we have stayed in for a long time. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Phyllis and Hugh we very good hosts and made us feel very welcome. What more could you ask for it is very good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding area with plenty to do and places to visit. Mr and Mrs Mitchell made us very welcome and provided first class accommadation. Hope to return in the future.

Clean, comfortable accomodation with loveley hosts, who cook a fantastic breakfast!

I would happily recommend to anyone. If you have money, I'm sure you might get a nicer room or view elsewhere, but this was pretty good value.

The only downside is that it is at the top of the steep slope at the back of the town.

As for St Mawes......its very pretty!

We booked this lovely guest house at the last minute and were very lucky to get a room. We stayed in the garden chalet room which had a double bed and a small tv room so you did not have to lie on the bed to watch tv. The decor was lovely and the whole chalet very clean. The bathroom was a good size and had a double shower. We stayed for four nights and had the towels changed after day two.
The hosts Phyllis and Hugh were very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. Their local knowledge was invaluable re water taxis, ferrys and buses and resulted in us having some amazing coastal walks.
The highlight was definately Phyllis's huge breakfasts which set us up for the day and helped us on our walks.
St Mawes is a lovely village with great pubs and views across the bay. The only slight consideration is that if you having walking difficulties you may find the hill from the harbour to the guest house a challenge, it is however very easy to take a car down or you can walk a slighly longer way which is much easier. It does help you burn the breakfast calories off anyway !!
There is also a lovely garden and patio area which you sit at at anytime and enjoy the sea view.
We would certainly recommend this as a great place to stay!!
