My husband and I treated ourselves to 2 nights at the Ocean Rooms B&B at the beginning of April (just happened to co-incide with my Birthday!). We've been to many spectacular places in the World and the view from Room 4 compares with the best of them (it helped that the British weather was very kind to us!).

On our first morning at Ocean Rooms, we woke at 7am and lied in bed until about 9ish with the curtains open just admiring the view and watching the fishermen getting ready to go out to fish.

We had a lovely meals at The Scoop and at a Chinese that I can't recall the name of, both meals were perfect. We spent 1 day just wandering around St Ives in and out the shops and Galleries and paddling in the freezing cold sea!

I cannot speak highly enough of the cleanliness, decor, breakfast (just amazing!) and the welcome you get from the owner Anna (even left me a little box of Chocs on my birthday). 2 days after we got back a friend saw my photographs and got her hubby to book for her Birthday - I should be on commission!

To stay at the Ocean Rooms is money well spent, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Ocean Rooms in October (I think!). The owners were lovely, the rooms spotless and the view breathtaking. The only downside was lack of parking but that's to be expected in St Ives. We parked in a nearby carpark which I can imaine would get manic in the summer months. Also, my boyfriend said the rooms were a bit small but that didn't bother me in the slightest. It was a bit noisy in the mornings when the bar donstairs was being set up, but I liked being woken so I could make the most of the day. We recommend this B & B to anyone who even mentions St Ives! If we go back to St Ives we will stay here again, no question.

Ocean Rooms is a fabulous b n b. most wonderful views, from the balcony and even from the bed!, a great room, spotless and very well decorated. Powerful shower, tea, coffee, complimentary bottle of water, soft towels, what more could we of wanted. Breakfast in the ocean grill was very good, choice of full breakfast, fruit, fish etc, Anna the owner is very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely book to stay here again. Lovely.

Stayed here in September and visited again in June this year, was remembered and treated like a friend. Once again room, breakfast and service impeccable. I will continue to visit as I dont think there can be anywere in St Ives with a better view, service or food.
