Apologies for the lateness of posting this review. My husband and I stayed at The Cobbles in April 2011 for four nights and would thoroughly recommend it. St Ives is one of my favourite places on earth and when we stay there it is usually in a cottage that we rent from a friend. Therefore we were looking for somewhere homely in 'downalong' to try and replicate our previous visits as far as possible. We were not disappointed. The room was very comfortable and cosy. The only downside was that it was unseasonably warm in April this year and so with our window's open it was a wee bit noisy from quite early in the morning. This didn't spoil anything for us though. The breakfast on offer is fabulous with a great choice. Rachel's scrambled eggs are the best I have ever tasted and all the produce is locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Both Rachel and Rob are very friendly and welcoming and we felt very relaxed and at home during our stay. We would highly recommend The Cobbles and would most definitely return there.

Stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time. Just a perfect B&B. Rob and Rachel made me very welcome and were always on hand, if required, to offer advice or to have a friendly chat. They would equally allow you to do your own thing. Spotlessly clean room with fresh water, coffee, tea, biscuits, replenished daily. Breakfast was spendid. partciularly recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs. I left feeling relaxed and very well looked after.

well worth staying here if you are looking for a quality place just behind the main streets in st ives. small room but perfectly furnished and spotless ( I have stayed in some 5 star hotels which were not as spotless as this ). the owners were great and provided excellent service and advice and a wonderful fresh selection for breakfast. the bedroom and bathroom were perfect and lots of additional touches to make it stand out from other B&B's. Overall a really excellent place to stay for a few days, just check the photos to see what I mean.

Wonderful b&b ! Rob & Rachel are really welcoming, friendly and chatty they made me feel very comfortable on what was my very first solo holiday. They are knowledgeable about everything to do in the area, and helpful if you need to know how or where to book any trips. The accomodation is beautifuly arranged, and very clean and modern. My single room had everything you could want, even it's own en-suite bathroom with shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was really tasty and filling with a full range to choose from and beautifully cooked. As other people have also said the location couldn't be more perfectly central for spending time in St Ives. I didn't take a car and it was an easy 10/15 walk from the train station. I will definitely be looking forward to a return visit !
