Well St Ives is a little Gem. We were advised by our friends to try this B and B as they had stayed there as part of their walking holiday. After checking this site we decided to book crest o wave.
One previous reviewer has tried her best to put people off but my friend and I are both female twenty somethings and this I'd my honest review.

St Ives is absolutely beautiful. Not over priced but in line with seaside resorts. The little streets and ambience is worth any extra you would pay anyway! The beaches are great and I knew on the first day I would be coming back.

The B and B. We arrived and pulled up outside. Christine the owner came out to greet us. She told us to park in an available space. The gap is tight as stated in the other review, but in general conversation It transpires that parking in the area is so scarce and valuable that they want more of their guests to be able to leave the car safe. Very commendable I thought.

Our room was nice and cosy with all the bits and bobs you would expect from a B and B. What a view!!! And what a nights sleep. All you can hear is the sound of the sea at night.

The town is virtually on the door step just a couple of minutes walk.

Our hosts we found to be extremely friendly. Nice breakfasts also to set you up for the day until the pasty or fish and chips start calling your name.
The cost was no different to any B and B we have stayed in before.
I am truly hard pressed to think of a negative. Oh I have one, we had one day of rain!
This is a british B and B. Don't confuse it for a 4 or 5 star hotel.

In short its a friendly, comfy, beautifully located bed and breakfast. The owners made our stay lovely and were very helpful and welcoming. What more would you want for the price and description. St ives is now my favourite uk town.

Firstly, I have to wonder if Caspers review is based on the same place at all???
This was the perfect place to stay. It is in a fantastic location overlooking Porthmear beach and a 5 min walk to beach, harbour and shops in St Ives. We had a carparking spot and were greeted by a very friendly couple who showed us to our rooms. They were clean, tea and coffee making, shower, toilet, towels, tv and even a selection of DVDs. Bed was really comfy and nice dark curtains and quiet location all resulted in excellent nights sleeps. Breakfast was yummy, everything you could want or need. The men went sea fishing and Dave helped them to gut the fish for our barby on the beach! St Ives itself is a gorgeous place and we did not find it expensive what so ever. Good quality eating places were The loft and SeaSalt which was small and intimate but some of the best food we have ever had! Cant wait to go back!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Crest O Wave in June and would highly recommend this lovely B&B. We had a brilliant sea view room and a fantastic breakfast was served daily. A bonus was having your own key to come & go as you please. The B&B is ideally situated in St Ives. Whilst walking along the costal patch we saw dolphins swimming alongside a boat and seals. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon. Our sincere thanks go to our great hosts Christine and David, a perfect weekend!

I think this is the third time I've stayed at this seaside B&B with my friend. He has a single room, I always have a double room. The rooms are bright and clean, tea/coffee etc. flat screen t.v. The full English breakfast is very 'full', although variations are available. Christine & Dave are friendly and helpfull. The views are just stunning, and the location is excellent, as little traffic goes past, and easy walking distance for the main beach/town. The cost is very fair for what you get. All in all good value, and we will go back again, and again.
