Myself and two others have just visited the Atlantic for a week on a training visit to our company. It has had a beautiful recent refurb and some great new owners. We have been made very welcome and nothing has been too much trouble for anyone. This is a beautiful location and has some lovely places to visit near by. I will definitely be bringing my family back here as not only has it been perfect for business but is extremely child friendly, the restaurant is now open and serving gorgeous food at a very reasonable price. No complaints from us and would recommend to anyone.

The Atlantic really surprised me, under new management the bar looked great and the friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Of particular note was the breakfast from home made bread for toast to a healthy yoghurt creation! The rooms are small and functional but are clean and do the job! Highly recommended!!!

On arrival, the car park was hard to find. Our room was small and shabby despite the refurbishment that was supposed to have taken place and the bathroom was sub-standard, tiny and unpleasant. On the plus side, everything was very clean.
We had been told after booking that the restaurant would be closed but that food would be available in the bar. The choice was limited and pricey for the amount given and soft drinks were extremely expensive. The bar area itself was comfortable but the music was too loud to allow for a relaxing evening. All in all, our New Year stay was not as enjoyable we had hoped.

The refurbishment of the hotel is outstanding. The Bar is a MUST visit of any stay, relaxed and luxury not out of place in a 5 star hotel. A real delight and a 500% improvement. A real warm welcome to. Thank you.
