Don't overlook this place when searching for somewhere to stay in St Ives. Terrific hosts - we loved Shane's tales of his European travels and Lorraine's advice on where to go and what to see in the local area. Make sure you indulge yourselves with Shane's full English breakfast - it'll keep you going all day. Room spotless and very comfortable, great value for money. Thanks to First Great Western's Club 55 for getting us there (first class) at a bargain price! Looking forward to a repeat performance next year.

Can't really add much to all the other reviews except to agree with all the positive comments....friendly, clean, helpful with the parking (and you need help with parking in St Ives!), great breakfast, Shane and Lorraine are great hosts, and if you get a room with a sea view it's pretty spectacular...which was a real plus seeing as it rained most of the time we were there. Luckily St Ives has plenty to do for such a small town, but it's always good to stay in a B&B or a hotel where being there is a part of the holiday, not just a bed for the night.

We stayed in Tregony B and B for a weekend away. We had the most beautiful beach view room which was really bright and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee in the room and everything we needed. Shane and Lorraine helped us out with directions and suggested great places to visit while we were there. We had a fantastic breakfast cooked to order and a good chat too!
Such a lovely friendly place to stay I cant recommend it enough. Cheap car park just outside and close to everything.

We stayed at the Tregony Guest House as a last minute get away for 2 nights, the room we stayed in was quite small but for what we wanted it was just right, The location is by the Porthmeor Beach side of St ives on the top of the hill, looking out to sea, not a problem for us as we are fit. The harbour was a 6 mins walk through the back streets of St Ives. The breakfast was good, & they would adapt it if you did nt want a full cooked breakfast, there was fruit & cereal as well to start if you wanted. There is no car parking at this B & B, but thats the same for many in St ives, there is a car park 100 meters down the road, which costs at the moment £6.30 for a 24 hr stay, if you get there at about 9am or after 6pm you should get a parking space, otherwise it gets full very quickly.
