We made our annual trip to St. Ives, and stayed at Tregony for the first time, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The room had great views over Porthmeor beach. The room was well equipped and clean.

There was a great choice for breakfast.

We will book again!!

First time stayed here and would definately reccomend this guest house to anyone. Shayne and Lorraine were excellent hosts. A very warm and friendly welcome. The bedroom was large clean and spacious with the most beautiful view. A huge bay window which had a couple of chairs and table so you could sit and have a cuppa looking out to sea, how relaxing is that? Tea and coffee facility in the bedroom was topped up every day and the biscuits were delicious. And a big plus was that the bed was very comfortable. Now what can i say about the breakfast... out of this world. A huge choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and orange juice and thats just to start with. The cooked breakfast is the best and what a choice, will keep you going all day. Will definately be going to St Ives again and definately will be staying here again, A very big thank you to Shayne and Lorraine for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed here for 2 nights while walking the SW Coast Path, in order to have a rest day - visit the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Galleries, walk the stretch of the Path around the 'Island' and generally get a flavour of St. Ives.
We asked for one of the cheaper rooms, (who needs a sea view when you're walking beside it all day!) and were given one which was compact, clean and comfortable. We thought the tray under the bed for boots was a really good and practical idea. As it was, we had had great weather, (until the day we left St. Ives and did the 'severe' leg to Pendeen Watch in mist and cloud!).
The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The owners were ever affable and friendly. We would happily return to St Ives and Tregony.

we had a short break without kids in July. Came across Tregony and we are glad we did. Close to town, clean, friendly all in all just great. You must try the smoked haddock for breaky. Thanks to Loraine and Shayne for making our break simply great.
