All other reviewers have already rightly highlighted the very high quality of this small (3 rooms only) B&B on a traffic-free lane with splendid views down on to what must be England's most attractive seaside town. We had the smallest of the three rooms, but even without being able to use the large private terrace which would make it a wonderful retreat in summer, we were impressed with how the layout of the room made the most of the available space, and with the very high standards of design and cleanliness. Breakfasts, prepared to order by the charming Grahame, are excellent; but you must also ensure you make full use of the superb range of restaurants in the town: in only a couple of minutes down two flights of steps you can access everything St Ives has to offer (without any of the stress of parking). There was plenty going on even midweek at the start of January. Grahame will provide comprehensive advice on where to eat, but I would particularly recommend two next to each other on the Wharf: Alba and the brilliant value Harbour Fish and Chips.
