Just returned home from another fantastic and relaxing stay at the Anchorage. The location of the Anchorage is second to none, literally a few seconds walk from the beautiful harbour, shops and restaurants on Fore St and the Wharf.

Was a lovely suprise to see that our usual room (Room 3) had just been very tastefully renovated - had the honour of being the first to stay in the new room. Room was very clean and bright with a very comfortable bed and a lovely shiny white bathroom with large walk in shower.

Parking can be difficult in St Ives so it was wonderful to take advantage of the very reasonably priced long term parking space Chris offers on the Island Car Park.

There was a great selection of books and DVDs available to borrow - perfect for a few early nights in with a glass of wine :)

Chris is a superb friendly and helpful host, cooks a lovely full Cornish  breakfast and has great knowledge of local attractions and restaurants, bars, etc (also recommended the best pasties in St Ives from SH Ferrells Bakery, conveniently right next door to the Anchorage)

We highly recommend the Anchorage.

We have just returned from another relaxing break at the Anchorage.What a gem of a place, Room 2 is fantastic, great space, great facilities, amazing freshly cooked breakfast every morning, what more could you ask. We cannot recommend this place any higher! Thank you and Well Done Chris!

The Anchorage is a beautiful B&B located right in the middle of St Ives. We stayed in a room on the first floor which was nicely decorated and I just loved sitting on the windowsill watching the busy streets of St Ives. Breakfast was delicious and plenty.

The B&B is conveniently located to explore St Ives. Parking is generally a problem in St Ives and it's no fun driving around in the narrow streets looking for parking spaces, so make sure you book your parking space together with the room. I think it was an extra 7 Pounds per day (I don't remember exactly), which was well spent!

Chris is a very welcoming host. Ask him for some "off the beaten tracks" tips on Cornwall! We also loved his restaurant recommendation - the seafood restaurant "Mermaid".

I would definitely stay here again!

A lovely bed and breakfast in a quaint location. Chris is a welcoming and friendly host. The breakfasts were excellent and prepared to order. Great location for shops, harbour and the beaches.
