We returned for our second visit with andy and emily in potters at tre-pol-pen and if possible was even better than the first vist the new decor and the newly designed potters was so inviting so relaxing and more magical than ever you really feel you are the only people to have ever stayed there it feels as if it is your home away from home where you can come and go as you please to visit the beautiful st.ives and as ever andy and emily were so kind and friendly you feel like you heve known them for years nothing is ever too much trouble they really have captured everything you would want for the perfect getaway i would reccomend tre-pol-pen to anyone and everyone and i do thhis truly is a 5 star b and b in a 5 star part of cornwall there is no question in my mind where i am going next year!

We've just got back from a 2 night stay at Tre-Pol-Pen, and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent, the owners, Emily and Andy, are lovely. The location is fantastic, and the room was very clean and tidy. Yes, the room was a little on the small side, but as with any holiday, you aren't there very much, and it was more than adequate for us. In fact, it was very cosy and perfect for a romantic get-away. Agreed, there is no car park, but when you book, Emily and Andy send you maps and details of 3 car parks near-by, so it's not a problem.
Tre-Pol-Pen is right in the heart of St Ives and close to restaurants and bars, (but far enough away for it not to be noisy!) It's really near the sea front and every evening we'd stroll around taking in the wonderful sea air. We would absolutely recommend this B&B, and hope to go back in the near future.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tre-Pol-Pen during May 2008. You couldn't wish for better hosts. Breakfast lovely, and very clean throughout the house. I have since recommended Tre-Pol-Pen to my mum and dad, who also throughly enjoyed their stay.

Fantastic stay, with wonderful hosts who were sensitive to our every need and made our stay as enjoyable as it was. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and well loved. Breakfast was tremendous and kept us going till we went out in the evening. Tre Pol Pen is situated in a perfect place, as close as you can get to the centre of St Ives but away from the main streets so that it wasn't noisy. St Ives is a lovely place with plenty to see and do, this B&B gave us a wonderful base to work from and my husband and I will definately be returning in 2009.
