“Wonderful care and attention to detail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

We enjoyed every moment of our weekend at Seaforth. Debbie and Carl made us feel so welcome and this was reflected in all aspects of their care for us, the overall quality of provision, thoughtful attention to detail and pleasant little surprises. Breakfasts were excellent and the view from the bay window in our room was breathtaking. The central location was ideal, particularly in the unusually cold and wet winter weather. We appreciated their recommendations for eating out and visits, especially the Hepworth garden; and those seals were amazing!

“Lovely - Would recommend and would go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

Firstly Carl & Debbie we're sorry it's taken so long to write this review..
We stayed for 3 nights at the end of October and checked in the day after my partner had proposed back in Devon, so it was great to find that we had a lovely and spacious room with a truly wonderful view of the harbour and out to sea, which made our stay even more romantic. Carl and Debbie helped us with our bags from the car and even left a congratulations card and some pebbles in the shape of a heart on our bed on our second day - very thoughtful. They had great advice for places to visit, which we took them up on and were very pleased we did. If we were staying longer we'd have used their free entry into the Tate which was offered at breakfast one morning. Breakfast was very good and the addition of the homemade preserves was lovely. In our room, I could have sat in the bay window and looked out at the view for hours. I think we had room 3. The location is perfect for walks around the harbour (a few minutes away) and surrounding streets. We were able to park outside of their garage a couple of minutes up the hill - which felt very safe and we were grateful for. Our hosts were attentive but not intrusive in any way which I know some people worry about when staying at a B&B - no need here. We didn't want to leave and would definitely go back. On our departure Carl and Debbie gave us as an engagement gift - a wonderful huge round stone (one of the smooth ones with the line down the middle) they had collected on one of their many beach walks which was so lovely of them. A fantastic stay!! If you had to pin us down to come up with one very small piece of constructive criticism (and it didn't impact on our stay at all) it would be that the shower in that particular room could have been stronger. Give Seaforth a try, you won't regret it!
Thanks Carl and Debbie, we hope you are both well and thanks so much for our wonderful stay M&D xx p.s. our St Ives stone is in pride of place as a fancy door stop, looks fab!!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We have just got back from a (surprise birthday) weekend at Seaforth, and it was wonderful. We have stayed in St Ives lots of times but usually camp in the warmer months. Debbie and Carl's B&B is beautiful with stunning views of the harbour, from our room . We were warm and comfortable in the beautiful, large room, and enjoyed sitting in the huge bay window and staring out to sea. The breakfasts were scrumptious - perfect poached eggs! We would recommend Seaforth to anyone who is after a classy yet relaxed place to stay, and can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: room 3 has fab views

“Safe and cosy”

I travelled on my own for work purposes (female) and this felt a safe a friendly place to stay. Well located, a very warm welcome and attentive hosts; a great balance. I have stayed in St Ives 3 times in the last 5 months and this is the best B&B to date. Food could not be faulted. Fresh fruit salad and greek yoghurt were very welcome each day and scrambled eggs were perfect. Add to this easy access WiFi, TV and tea, coffee, biscuits in the room each day; perfect. No wonder they have lots of guests! I will definately stay here again if they have a free room when I return!

“Absolutely Lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

I have just returned from a weeks stay at Seaforth and it was one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. I was holidaying alone and Debbie and Carl couldn't have made me feel more welcome. The breakfast was AMAZING and the room was very comfortable with fantastic sea views. Thank you for making my holiday special.
