I stayed at the Grey Mullet in St Ives in June. St Ives is a wonderful place for an escape, gorgeous beaches, lovely light, dolphins, art, the Tate, lovely shops and great places to eat. The Grey Mullet is a stone's throw from all of this. It's old, charming, full of character. My room was tiny but so sweet, there were interesting eclectic pictures and portraites everywhere, a small living room area complete with fireplace, magazines, books and loads of local guides and maps. The staff were very chatty and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be back and I can't recommend this guest house too highly.
