The Old Count House B and B has a fantastic studio apartment that sleeps 2. We had a fabulous 2 week stay with a view to die for from our balcony. We ate in and ate out but made sure we got some exercise by walking up and down the hill to the town instead of getting on the bus that was available for those who were quite happy to pay £1 for the privilige! (it only takes minutes) The apartment has an allocated parking spot and access to the apartment is through the garage. We felt right at home with Cheryl and Ken who go out of their way to make you feel welcome without being intrusive. We went to lots of places in Cornwall and if ever we go back, we will choose The Old Count House again!

we spent 6 nights in this B&B and the whole time we felt thoroughly at home. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfasts were very well prepared and offerred a good variable menu.
Although lots of comments mention the hill to be climbed getting back from the town, we found it no bother and took only 5-6 minutes at an easy place. If you cannot handle hills don't go to cornwall!
St Ives was a very long journey for us (14 hours drive) so I don't know if we will go back in a hurry but if I did I would choose to stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the host and hostess were very welcoming the breakfast service was always prompt and well cooked. We had the four poster with whirlpool bath, and the room was clean and comfortable, however there is no separate shower in that particular room and I found the bath dificult to get in and out of. If we stayedin St Ives again we would go for an ordinary room. There is a park and ride scheme near by but parking in trenwith square can be a bit tight.

My Mother and myself stayed here for 2 nights when visiting St Ives. We had a single room each which had double beds and en suite shower rooms. They were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and could not do enough for us, without being too effusive. We would most definitely go back there.
